Meet Your Dive Staff
Provo Turtle Divers' staff features the most experienced, friendliest
and helpful dive instructors and captains on the island - for your
enjoyment, safety and most of all FUN!
 |
Dave, originally from
Virginia, has owned Provo Turtle Divers since 2002. You will
more than likely see Dave as a captain, divemaster, instructor
or photographer - he has gills! He is also the unofficial shark
whisperer in the group - so he's the guy to dive with if you
want to see a shark or two! |
 |
Melinda, originally from
California, finally hung up her saddle and boots and has been
here since December 2002. If you've sent an email to us, then
you've already met her! She occasionally escapes for a
dive or two. |
 |
Nikki, originally from Canada, arrived in Provo over 6
years ago. She calls Provo her home and shares it with her
Pot Cake (island dog) Bailey. Nikki is one of our instructor extraordinaires and also works with our kids programs. |
 |
Mark, a Master
Instructor, joined our staff in November 2005. Originally from
the UK, he decided to travel to this side of the world to
continue his record setting instruction - he has certified more
divers than you can believe! |
 |
Eric,
a real veteran of the islands, is our newest captain. He
has lived here on Provo for over 9 years and brings a wealth of
experience and knowledge to our dive operation. Originally
from Canada, Provo is now his home. |
 |
Denise, joined our staff
in February of 1995 and is the heart and soul of our retail store at
Ocean Club. She has the cleanest store on the island and
never has a tee-shirt out of place. She is the lady to see
about booking an excursion while here! |
 |
Tanya, born
and raised here on Provo, has been with us since June 2001.
She keeps the shop at Ocean Club West in tip top shape! She is
also a waitress and knows all the good places to eat. |
 |
Nemo, born in July 2004,
is our ever present mascot. From Medford, Oregon, he arrived here
at the age of 10 weeks. He is the official
greeter at the shop and loves rawhide bones if you'd like to
bring him one! |
 |
Shark Bait,
is an island dog better known as a "Pot Cake" who showed up on
our doorstep in Dec 2005 as a wee puppy. Her cute face and
friendly disposition sealed her fate as our shop dog instantly! |
